A sleepover at a friend’s place for a woman in Segamat turned to a nightmare when three robbers broke into the shophouse she was in and raped her, reported Metro Ahad. The woman, in her 20s, needed a place to stay for the night and her male friend offered the room in the shophouse he was staying in Segamat two days ago.
The robbers, armed with parang, broke into the house and tied up her friend and his father before they forced themselves on her.
District police chief Supt Mohd Kamil Sukarmi said during the 3am incident, the robbers had wanted to steal scrap materials in the building.
“Instead, they took the shop owners’ gadgets and jewellery,†said Supt Mohd Kamil.
> The daily also reported that four siblings from four different mothers were offered a place in the same university to study the same course in Kota Baru.
Ayu Shaheera Zulkepli, Juliana Aziera, Zul Azril and Zul Azrul – all 18 – have the same father, Datuk Zulkepli Mohamad, 51, a businessman. They applied for an accounting course at Universiti Teknologi Mara Machang following their SPM.
They said they were used to questions from their teachers and friends.
“We’ve faced this so many times and we just say we have the same father but different mothers. We don’t have any problem living with each other,†said Ayu Shaheera.
Their father owns an accounting firm, which Juliana Aziera said they planned to some day inherit it.
“All of us have been very close since young,†said Juliana Aziera, adding that she hoped to have her sister Ayu as her roommate in university.
