An Indonesian school? Just in time of Jokowi’s visit to Malaysia? WHAT a coincidence!
Prime Minister Najib Razak announced today that the Sarawak state government had agreed to set up the Indonesian School in the state, similar to what has already been set in place in neighbouring Sabah.
Bernama reports that the PM said, “We agreed that schools be set up for the children of migrant workers from Indonesia. The Sarawak government has agreed to establish such schools.
“As such, as advocated by UNESCO, the right to education is a universal right that cannot be denied.”
What a better way to throw some hard-earned Malaysian ringgit around,eh?
Presiden Joko Widodo was with him as he made the announcement in Putrajaya. Jokowi, as he is popularly known, is on a three-day state visit to Malaysia.MYNEWSHUB.CC
