KUALA LUMPUR: Over 300 job opportunities are expected to be created by IKEA Malaysia following the opening of its new store in Cheras by end of this year.
Retail director of IKEA Malaysia, Singapore and Thailand, Mike King in a statement Tuesday said IKEA Cheras at Jalan Cochrane here was part of their overall ambition to expand in South East Asia.
“IKEA Cheras is set to accommodate various full-time and part-time positions across departments including sales, food and beverage, customer relations, logistics and more.
“It is an exciting opportunity to welcome fellow Malaysians who share the same passion towards creating a better everyday life for the many people,” it said.
According to the statement, IKEA Cheras will hold a job fair from July 31 until August 2 (10am-5pm) at Vivatel Hotel, here.
