SADONG JAYA, SAMARAHAN – Thirty run-down schools in Sarawak are expected to be rehabilitated by the end of this year.

Education deputy-general Datuk Seri Dr Khir Mohamad Yusof said the project to upgrade the schools was based on the Industrialised building system (IBS).

“The technology-based project is divided into several packages costing about RM90 million,” he told reporters after visiting SK Haji Bujang Rawangan Putin here, which was completed in 19 days at a cost of about RM1.5 million. – BERNAMA
