KUALA LUMPUR – PAS has issued a letter to former party vice-president, Datuk Husam Musa, to attend PAS central Dewan Harian on Nov 24.
PAS secretary-general Datuk Takiyuddin Hassan said Husam needed to explain several public statements he made recently.
“Should he feel the president (Datuk Seri Abdul Hadi Awang) is an interested party, he could give his clarifications before Dewan Harian in which the deputy presidents, and vice-presidents would not be involved,” he told reporters at Parliament lobby today.
Takiyuddin said Husam could also come forward with evidence to explain in detail to PAS Dewan Harian.
“I have stated in the letter that he could bring all evidences, documentaries and all he has,” he said.
Takiyuddin who is Kota Baharu MP stressed that PAS had also maintained its stand of not allowing internal party issues to be debated or discussed especially involving Husam and PAS Election Director Datuk Mustafar Ali.
“The actual issue in the internal issues of PAS relate to statements and allegations made by several former and present PAS leaders on several issues.
“For example, PAS president was purportedly working to unite PAS and UMNO in the past…the issue in Selangor and so on,” he said. – BERNAMA
