SEPANG – National Under 19 (U-19) football squad head coach Bojak Hodak is hoping his boys can achieve positive results in three friendly matches in Bangkok, starting tomorrow.

“Winning every game is important and when we pick up a victory, it will motivate the players to go even further in the next match…Whenever they come for international duty, we always emphasise on the winning mentality,”he told reporters before leaving for to Bangkok via the Kuala Lumpur International Airport, here, today.
The 47-year-old Croatian said apart from scoring victory in every match, he also hopes some of the new players can adapt to the team’s playing style.
“I have also not decided which player will wear the armband but I can see three players can take up the role such as Azhar Apandi, Ammar Akhmal Alias and Hadi Fayyadh Abdul Razak,” Hodak added.
Malaysia will meet Thailand’s U-19 squad on May 30 followed by the second match against Assumption United on June 2.
Both matches are scheduled to be held at SCG Muangthong Stadium.
