HILARY Duff has quit Tinder but has admitted she found the experience “really fun”.
The ‘Lizzie McGuire’ star who previously revealed she had used the mobile dating app to find a date has since shut down her profile on the site.
“I’m not still using it. It was really fun for me for a minute; I wanted to experience something totally normal and also shock people. No one thought I was really on it – and I was really on it!” she said.
The 27-year-old beauty who filed for divorce from her estranged husband Mike Comrie earlier this year previously admitted she was “nervous” ahead of her Tinder date.
“I was sitting with my friends one night at the house and we were joking around. In my life, I have always had really serious boyfriends. I’ve always met people through work and I have never been on a blind date. What’s the worst that could happen? I have my first date tonight and I’m really, really nervous. We’re going bowling, so it can’t be too expensive. I like that. I’ve never dated just a total normie,” she explained.
And whilst she thought the date was “cool”, Hilary who has three-year-old son Luca from her previous relationship to Mike wasn’t sure if she would be meeting up with him again.
“We went bowling so we didn’t have to talk too much, but we did talk a lot actually. He was cool. He brought a friend and I had some friends there. He used to be in editing for reality shows. Now, he’s an actor and he just wrote a play. He’s an interesting guy. To be honest, I don’t really want to date an actor but I think he has a few jobs,” she shared.
