“When I initially embarked on this project, I wanted to find a bull weighing 350kg and above.
“A friend told me of one, but its price was RM16,000 because it weighed about one tonne. We went to see the breeder in Telemong, Hulu Terengganu and he turned out to be a friend of mine.
“He gave me a discount and sold the bull for only RM13,000,” he told reporters here Tuesday.
A video of the bull was uploaded in Facebook and viewed 7,400 times, and the netizens calling it the “giant bull’ and “lembu sado (heavily-muscled bull)”.
Zulfadzli said with its one-tonne weight, he expected the meat to be distributed to between 1,500 and 2,000 families around Losong, with each receiving about 500g of meat.
