KUNAK – The police arrested four Indonesian nationals suspected to be involved in drugs and firearms activities at a house in a plantation near here early today.
Kunak Police chief Supt Mohd Nasaruddin M. Nasir said a police team raided the house at 1.15 am and caught the men, aged between 20 and 54, who had sharp objects and turned aggressive upon seeing the policemen.
The policemen, led by Kunak Narcotics CID chief Insp Nazarudin Haron, found a transparent packet containing 10 plastic packets of syabu weighing 5.9 gm in the house, he said in a statement.
They also found a firearm and five rounds of ammunition, a Samurai sword, a machete and a keris at a sub-station about 10 metres from the house, he said.
He said the suspects were workers of the plantation.
