BACHOK – Four people were found murdered near a padi field with plastic bags over their heads at Kampung Tanjung Hilir Bekelam near here on Sunday.
The bodies, which had multiple stab wounds, were found in some thick undergrowth.
State police chief Datuk Dr Ab. Rahman Ismail said the victims, aged between 20 and 30, could have been killed elsewhere three days ago and the bodies dumped at the area.
“There were wounds on their hands, thighs and stomach and one of the deceased had a tattoo on his hand.
“We are working on the theory of revenge and it may have something to do with an on-going investigation,” he said.
The bodies have been sent to the Raja Perempuan Zainab II Hospital for postmortem.
A 41-year-old local man, who was passing the area at about 6.45pm on Sunday, discovered the bodies due to their strong smell.
The murders could be drug related. In Kelantan, drugs with a street value of over RM16mil were seized this year. – The Star Online
