KUALA TERENGGANU – The first victim of last Saturday’s Sri Aman coal explosion has arrived safely at the Sultan Mahmud Airport at about 2.45 pm today to receive specialist treatment.
The Indonesian victim, identified as Triono, received emergency treatment for burns at the Sultanah Nur Zahirah Hospital (HSNZ)’s intensive care unit (ICU) here.
He was together with five other victims, who were flown on a Royal Malaysian Air Force (RMAF) Hercules C130 mercy flight from Sarawak at about 12.30 pm.
The remaining five victims received their treatment at other hospitals, namely two in Alor Setar, another two in Subang and one in Kota Bharu. – BERNAMA
