IPOH – A family of four died perished when the car they were travelling in rammed into the rear of a lorry at Km209 of the North-South Expressway (north bound) near the Kamunting exit here, today.
Taiping traffic chief ASP Din Mat Saman said in the 4pm incident, the victims comprising two men and two women died at the scene.
“The incident occurred when the car crashed into the lorry which had stopped in the emergency lane. Further investigations are being carried out,” he said when contacted by Bernama today.
He said all the victims were brought to the Taiping Hospital for post-mortem. – BERNAMA
