KUALA LUMPUR – The Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) has rescheduled three Malaysia Cup matches due to Johor Darul Ta’zim’s (JDT) involvement in the AFC Cup competition and clash of dates to use the Shah Alam Stadium.
The FAM in its official Facebook posting Monday said since JDT have qualified for the AFC Cup semifinals, its Group B match against Sarawak at the State Stadium in Kuching on Saturday (Sept 26) has been rescheduled to Oct 24.
JDT will be heading to Kuwait for the first leg semifinal against Qadsia SC on Sept 29.
FAM have also rescheduled JDT’s match against Perak at the Perak Stadium in Ipoh on Oct 3 to Oct 4.
The Group D match between Police and PKNS that was scheduled at the Shah Alam Stadium on Saturday has also been postponed from Sept 26 to Sept 28 since Selangor will be playing against Felda United in a Group C match on the same day.
