PETALING JAYA: Football Association of Malaysia president Tengku Abdullah Sultan Ahmad Shah has expressed his willingness to step down as the national governing body’s head according to BERNAMA.

However the resignation date has not been decided and he will discuss with the FAM exco to enable deputy president Datuk Seri Affandy Hamzah to assume temporary charge of FAM once he steps down.

Tengku Abdullah admitted that he was disappointed with the national team’s humiliating 10-0 loss to United Arab Emirates (UAE) in the World Cup qualifying match in Abu Dhabi last Thursday.–BERNAMA
