REMBAU – A factory supervisor was killed in a four-vehicle mishap at Km 242.6 of the North South Expressway (north-bound) here, last night.
Rembau District Police chief DSP Ibrahim Sharif said motorcyclist Hallary Anak Andrew Bujang, 23, of Kampung Jagoi Stass, Bau, Sarawak, died at the scene of the accident, which took place at 8.15 pm.
He said Hallary’s motorcycle had rammed the back of a Proton Iswara, in the emergency lane, throwing him and his motorcycle into the centre of the road resulting in a Hino Euro lorry ploughing into the victim and his motorcycle.
“The collision threw the motorcycle into the innermost lane where it was rammed by a Volkswagen car,” he said.
Hallary’s body was sent to the Tampin Hospital. – BERNAMA
