JOHOR BARU: A former celebrity chef pleaded not guilty at the Sessions Court here for committing unnatural sex with a youth.
Singaporean Muhammad Mustaqim Juri, 37, allegedly committed the offence at a car park area in Tampoi at around 2.30pm on Dec 10.
Muhammad Mustaqim, a runner-up at a cook show organised by a Singapore television, had forced the 22-year old youth to engage in the sexual act in his car.
He later went to the victim’s house in Taman Cempaka here and threatened his mother that he would “get rid of her whole family”.
Judge Meor Sulaiman Ahmad Tarmizi set RM40,000 as bail with one surety and the suspect to surrender his passport to the court. The next mention date is January 17, 2016.
The case is being investigated for committing carnal intercourse against the order of nature without consent and intimidation.
