KUCHING – Sarawak Chief Minister Tan Sri Adenan Satem said he had to cancel some of his scheduled events today because of a “slight headache and fever”.
Following his tight schedule in the past three weeks, his doctor advised him to take some rest today, he told a media conference.
“I was up and down the state…I was very busy. It does take effect on my health. Therefore, the doctor advised me to take a rest today…I have taken a few pills.
“(Now) I now look fresh and I look as handsome as before,” he said with a smile.
He alluded to his close shave with death three years ago following a heart ailment, and added: “God gave me a bonus and dropped me a hint to do more for the people of Sarawak.”
Adenan has been busy leading the Barisan Nasional campaign for the May 7 state election.- BERNAMA
