ELVIS Presley’s former Graceland estate is to undergo a $137 million facelift with a new hotel and entertainment complex set to be built on the site.
Officials at the Memphis-based abode-turned-museum have announced plans for a $92 million hotel to be constructed on the site, as well as a $45 million entertainment complex.
According to US newspaper The Commercial Appeal, the 450-room hotel will open on October 27 and be called The Guest House at Graceland, but when it is completed the Heartbreak Hotel will be demolished.
