KUALA LUMPUR: The verdict on shuttler Lee Chong Wei’s doping case is out and good news is expected.

Youth and Sports Minister Khairy Jamaluddin will make an announcement on the fate of the former world No.1 in his Putrajaya office at 3pm Monday.

No official statement nor details of the verdict have been released yet, but indications are Chong Wei will be cleared to play in three upcoming majors – the Sudirman Cup in Dongguan from May 10-17, SEA Games in Singapore in June and the World Championships in Jakarta in August.

Chong Wei was tested positive for the banned substance dexamethasone during the World Championships in Copenhagen last August.
