After you’ve partied and gotten glammed up for the holidays, there’s no better way to relax and refresh than a DIY face mask. If your skin is on the oily side, a night of champagne and dancing often shows up in a greasy glare, resulting in clogged pores and possibly leading to breakouts. To keep your skin radiant and poreless, you really don’t have to look any further than your refrigerator.
Egg White Face Mask
What you need:
1 egg white
Few drops of fresh lemon juice
What to do:
Lightly whisk the egg white and lemon juice in a clean bowl.
Gently cleanse your skin, and rinse with warm water to open your pores.
Apply the egg white mixture to your skin in a circular motion using your fingers.
Let the mask sit for 15 to 20 minutes. The liquid will create a thin layer.
Rinse off with warm water, and follow up with an oil-free moisturizer (or moisturizer of your choice).
Why it’s great:
Egg whites help control oil production in your skin. Adding a few drops of lemon juice to the mixture will cut the smell of the egg and help brighten your complexion.
