Now you can surf the Net on your mobile data when you’re onboard a Malindo Air flight. If you’re a Digi user, that is.
Digi Telecommunications Sdn Bhd (Digi) has partnered with Malindo Air to give passengers the convenience of Internet surfing during selected flights.
Through the partnership with Malindo Air, the customers would be able to use their mobile devices onboard to stay online and connected with Digi high-speed internet services, Digi Head of Marketing services Chan May Ling said in a statement today.
The service is available on selected Malindo Air Boeing 737-900ER aircrafts via AeroMobile service, mainly on routes to Mumbai, Delhi, Amritsar, Kochin, Trichy, Trivandrum, Kathmandu, Perth, Kota Kinabalu, Kuching, Bali, and Bangkok.
“Many holidaymakers today feel the need to stay connected and updated. We are happy to be in partnership with Malindo Air and AeroMobile to cater to customer needs,” Chan said.
This partnership is in line with Digi’s ambitions to provide wider 4G LTE network coverage to connect even more Malaysians to its internet services which is capable of serving 60 per cent of the population.
Digi postpaid customers can now access the in-flight internet with a promotional daily flat rate of RM32 to enjoy the new service.
