ALOR SETAR – D’Herbs Holdings (M) Sdn Bhd has confirmed the company’s RM30 million sponsorship for the Kedah football team, the Red Eagles.
Its founder, Datuk Aliff Shukri Kamarzaman, however, said there were several matters which had to be examined further to ensure both parties were fully satisfied.
“In essence, we have agreed but there are certain areas which we have to deliberate over as the sponsorship amount is big,” he told reporters at Seri Mentaloon today.
He said the agreement was reached after a one-hour meeting with Kedah Football Association (KFA) president, Datuk Seri Ahmad Bashah Md Hanipah this evening.
Meanwhile, Ahmad Bashah, who is also Kedah Menteri Besar, in a statement said basically both KFA dan D’Herbs had mutually agreed on the Kedah squad sponsorship.
“We need to finalise on a few points including legal matters before we can make an official announcement,” he said while advising everyone to be patient and refrain from making any speculations. – BERNAMA
