Mohd. Zafran Azijja Zahrani, fiance of Nur Syafiqa Lah, have promised to be faithful despite the possibility of the woman to have a permanent scar on her face.
The 24-year-old Azijja said, he will still proceed with their wedding plans, due to be held next year in March.
His sole focus is now to help Syafiqa,22, cope with the traumatizing incident. The pair was engaged since April,this year.
“Whatever happens, I will remain loyal with Syafiqa and wedding will go on as planned,” he told reporters,today.
In the Sunday incident, Syafiqa went through a harrowing experience when two burglars broke into her house, punched her before slashing her face with a knife in Kamoung Wakaf Berangan, Sri Aman, Pasir Puteh.
Meanwhile, Mohd. Azijja said he could not describe the feeling of sadness when he learned Syafiqa was abused by the criminals.
“I was very worried. I cried incessantly until today.
”Although Syafiqa was able to smile, but I know, deep inside she is actually still sad and traumatized by the tragedy that befell on her. She was always woken up in a jolt after having nightmares of the burglars, saying that she was afraid if they returned to her home.”
Azijja said on the day of the incident, Syafiqa contacted him but he did not answer the call.
He said after that he received a message from his fiancee informing him that she had been robbed and asked him to rush immediately to the hospital.
“At first I thought she was joking because she liked to poke fun at me,” he said.MYNEWSHUB
