JOHOR BAHRU – The foetus of a baby boy was found in the toilet bowl of Ayer Baloi Health Clinic near Pontian, Wednesday.
Pontian police chief Supt Zakaria Abd Rahman said the foetus believed to be six months old was found by a health clinic assistant at about 11 am.
“Earlier, the assistant went to inspect the toilet after being informed it was blocked and the foetus was found after the clinic assistant pumped the object which caused the blockage,” he said when contacted here Thursday.
Zakaria said the object was later confirmed as a foetus by a clinic doctor and a report on the finding of the foetus was lodged at the Ayer Baloi police station at 12.10 pm yesterday.
He said the remains of the foetus was sent to Pontian Hospital for further examination. – BERNAMA
