PUTRAJAYA : The Department of Civil Aviation (DCA) has cleared Suasa Airlines Sdn Bhd of any wrongdoing over a “Monspace” advertisement featured on one of its planes.
Deputy Transport Minister Datuk Aziz Kaprawi said that after looking at the claims and arguments by the company, the aviation authority had cleared the airline with regards to the advertisement.
“There’s wrong with putting up the advertisement. You can see that AirAsia also have an ad on Manchester United,” he said on Wednesday.
Last week, the company’s chief executive officer Captain Sheikh Salleh Abod said the “Monspace” marking on an aircraft owned by Suasa Airlines was an advertisement that the DCA was aware of.
