Cutter Blade Case: JPNS Sets Up Probe Panel

GEMAS – The Negeri Sembilan Education Department (JPNS) has set up a special internal investigation committee to probe an incident involving three Sekolah Menengah Kebangsaan Tuanku Abdul Rahman (STAR), students here who were hit by a grass cutting blade from a tractor.

Its director Pkharuddin Ghazali said, currently, he was chairing the committee which would comprise of eight representatives from JPNS, Tampin District Education Department and the Star Parents and Teachers Association.

“We plan to invite representatives from Royal Malaysian Police and the Negeri Sembilan Department of Occupational Safety and Health to be on the committee.

“The committee will take about two weeks or earlier to conduct and wrap up the investigation on the case,” he told reporters here today.

Pkharuddin said JPNS would collect complete information from the parties involved and advise from the relevant agencies with the expertise to ensure the case was tackled in the best possible manner. – BERNAMA
