KUALA LUMPUR – Datuk Seri Najib Tun Razak has advised Gerakan party members to have the courage of their convictions.
“I am confident that Gerakan, under the leadership of president Datuk Seri Mah Siew Keong, can improve the party’s performance in the coming general election,” the Prime Minister said in a pre-recorded video at the 45th Gerakan National Delegates’ Conference at Menara PGRM on Sunday.
He said that in order to do this, Government parties must be closer to the people, and always provide effective service and ensure organised work structures.
He urged Gerakan members to increase efforts and continue working to ensure Barisan Nasional gains increased public support.
“I have recommended, and would like to emphasise again, for all Gerakan members to have the courage of your convictions,” he said.
He said he hoped that through good and sincere cooperation, Barisan would continue to lead Malaysia towards success.
