KUALA LUMPUR – Police will record a statement of former Felda chairman Tan Sri Isa Samad (pic) by next week over a land deal in Jalan Semarak.
Deputy Inspector-General of Police Tan Sri Noor Rashid Ibrahim said Isa is a person of interest as he was the then Felda chairman when the land deal was brokered.
“We will definitely record his statement over the matter.
“We are investigating the case under cheating and forgery of document,” he told a press conference in Bukit Aman on Wednesday.
“We have started investigation since a high-ranking Felda officer lodged a police report.
“We are also in the process of getting a statement of the one who lodged the report,” he said. – The Star Online
