Twelve individuals are being sought by police to facilitate investigations into a scuffle that erupted at the Shah Alam Stadium during the closing stages of the AFF Suzuki Cup first-leg semi-final tie between Malaysia and Vietnam on Sunday night.
Selangor CID chief Senior Asst Comm Datuk Mohd Adnan Abdullah said he hoped that with the assistance of the 12 individuals, police are able to wrap up investigations soon.
â€œThe public can also contact the investigating officer ASP Chang Sing Kong at 016-7733336 or ASP Mohd Amirul Abdullah at 012-4748870.
â€œWe would like to wrap up the investigation. So we really need the help from the media, as well as the men weâ€™re currently trying to track down,â€ he said at a press conference Tuesday.
He also urged the public to contact the nearest police station should they any information on the individualsâ€™ whereabouts.
