KUANTAN – “Come home, your children need you”, says Fatimah Abu Bakar, 60, in beseeching the return of her son-in-law, only known as Mohd Azri, 33.
Fatimah Abu Bakar, 60, urged Mohd Azri to come home and care for his children as their mother, Norizam Mohd Razali, 34, had died last week from haemorrhagic dengue.
She said her son-in-law left the family about six years ago and no news was heard of him since then.
Since Norizam died, Fatimah said she and her other daughter, Nor Shamsiah, 31, had been caring for the children — Nor Arisya Syafiqah Mohd Azri, 12, Nor Arisya Eishariana, 9, and Mohd Arish Shamil, 6.
“As the father, Mohd Azri should come home and take responsibility over the children,” she said when met at her Alor Akar Flat here during a visit by the Pahang Welfare, Humanitarian and Poverty Organisation (BAKKISS), led by its president Wan Azlan Wan Salleh today. – BERNAMA
