SEREMBAN: A lecturer of the Negri Sembilan Matriculation College in Kuala Pilah was killed in a road accident at KM41.8 of the Lekas Expressway near Taman Markosa here Friday.
The Toyota Wish car driven by Zaib Ngah, 53, hit the rear of a lorry at about 7am as he was driving to the college, said Seremban Fire and Rescue Department operations officer Arizal Omar.
Zaib died on the spot in the accident and his body was pinned to the driver’s seat, he said.
The body was sent to the Tuanku Jaafar Hospital here, he added.
Zaib’s colleague Salwa Anita Isa, who was at the scene of the accident, said Zaib had been driving from his home in Banting, Selangor, to the college and back over the past five years. – Bernama
