KUALA LUMPUR – The closure of the Perak Stadium in Ipoh is extended until an assessment is made and approval for use of the stadium is issued by Football Malaysia Limited Liability Partnership (FMLLP).
According to a FMLLP media statement today, a second check conducted today by FMLLP competition officers, Perak and PKNP FC teams’ representatives and the Perak Stadium management found the field at the stadium to be in a very unsatisfactory condition and could not be used as a competition venue.
“Accordingly, the stadium cannot be used as host team venue for the Perak and PKNP FC teams,” the statement said.
Hence, FMLLP has called on the Perak and PKNP FC teams to name and confirm the new host team venue for the remaining matches of the leagues and 2017 Malaysia Cup matches. – BERNAMA
