Christina Grimmie’s Killer Kevin Loibl Had ‘History Of Violence’

in Entertainment/Latest

THE man who shot Voice singer Christina Grimmie dead reportedly had a history of violence.

According to a police report, obtained by TMZ , cops were called to Kevin James Loibl’s home on two previous occasions.

In 2013, Kevin and his dad’s fiancee, Dawn, were involved in an argument at their Florida home.

While Dawn is believed to have told police Kevin slammed the door on her arm and broke her wrist, he claimed she was intoxicated and he accidentally slammed the door on her arm when he fled to his room.

According to the website, police had noted that she was “very intoxicated” and the matter wasn’t taken any further.

A year later police were also called for a fight between his dad and Dawn, though no arrests were made on this occasion either.

It comes after the 27-year-old’s family left a note on their front door expressing their ‘sorrow’ over their son’s actions.

“Deepest sorrow for lost to the Family, Friends and Fans of the very talented, loving Christina Grimmie. No other commets (sic),” the post shared on the door of their home in St. Petersburg, Florida, read.

Christina was shot in the head by ‘deranged’ fan Kevin who travelled down to her show in Orlando with the sole purpose of killing her.

He was carrying two small calibre handguns and a hunting knife at the time of the horrific incident, after which he shot himself dead.

A woman claiming to have witnessed the moment that Christina was shot dead in front of over a hundred fans, claimed she welcomed her killer with ‘open arms’.

Destiny Rivera has recalled the terrifying incidents of that night, revealing that she was stood directly behind the gunman.

She said: “He did look a little bit nervous, but he was by himself and he was dressed as any other concertgoer.

“He didn’t seem up for a conversation whatsoever, and he was kinda – he just kept looking around and was moving his body.” – Daily Mirror
