As if today could not get any better. Because of the plummeting prices of fuel these days, several large retailers have agreed to lower their retail prices to match revised costs.
Domestic Trade, Cooperatives and Consumerism Minister Hasan Malek announced today that hypermarket giant Mydin, the Q-Bistro restaurant chain, and restaurateurs under the auspices of the Association of Muslim Restaurant Operators Malaysia (Presma) would all lower their prices.
“It has been a positive meeting with various segments of the supply chain including the retailers, importers, freight forwarders and producers as well as manufacturers.
“They have given their input and those who have agreed to lower their prices will make the necessary announcements soon,” he told the New Straits Times.
To commemorate the momentous occasion, Mydin hypermarkets will lower the price of 50 items by 3% beginning this Friday.-MYNEWSHUB.CC
