GRIEVING Celine Dion has shared a heartbreaking picture of her and her late husband René Angélil ahead of Wednesday night’s memorial in Las Vegas.
The mother-of-three, 47, embraces her other half backstage at one of her concerts in the shot posted on her official Facebook page.
The singer, who lost Ren̩ to cancer last month, will appear at The Colosseum inside Caesars Palace Рthe venue of her residency Рfor a celebration of life service honouring the music manager.
After sharing the picture, her team wrote: “Today, a ‘celebration of life’ of René Angélil will be held at the Colosseum at Caesars Palace from 19 pm (PST) and this will be distributed simultaneously online.
“During the event, of the guests who have all met René will speak and will remember the man he was through stories and memories. If you want to send a message of condolence to Celine and her family, know that it is very appreciated.”
According to E! News, Celine won’t speak or perform during the ceremony but Rene will be remembered by other guests.
Celine – whose brother Daniel died of cancer just days after her husband passed away – recently thanked fans for offering their “love and support” to her, her kids, René-Charles, 15, and five-year-old Eddy and Nelson, and René’s children Patrick, Jean-Pierre and Anne-Marie, from previous relationships.
Ren̩ was laid to rest at a public funeral at the Notre-Dame Basilica Рwhere he and the singer were married in 1994. РDaily Mirror
