REMBAU – A PLUSRonda auxiliary policeman was killed after a car skidded and crashed into him early today while he was guiding traffic at Km240 of the North-South Expressway (northbound) where a trailer lorry had stalled.
Nordin Md Dingkil, 54, died on the spot from severe injuries to the head and face, said a police spokesman. His body was sent to the Tampin Hospital, he added.
The spokesman said Nordin was guiding traffic at the stretch near the Pedas Linggi toll plaza when a Proton Iswara with three people in it skidded and crashed into him at 6.21 am.
The trailer lorry driver and the three people in the car, all of whom were injured, were sent to the Tuanku Jaafar Hospital for treatment, he said.
