KUALA LUMPUR: “Capture the individuals who hit into my father,” said Nur Firuza Amira Fairuz Nizam to Home Minister, Datuk Seri Ahmad Zahid Hamidi.
This was the request made by Nur Firuza Amira during Zahid’s visit to the family of Fairuz Nizam Husain, victim of a fatal accident involving two Myvis and a Pajero early Saturday morning.
Nur Firuza Amira, 7, and her younger sister Nur Firuza Aqila, 4 , became orphans when their parents and sibling died in the accident.
The accident at the Duta-Ulu Klang Express highway early Saturday morning claimed the lives of death of Fairuz Nizam Husain, 35, his wife Nova Safitri Azhari, 25, and their seven-month-old daughter, Nur Firuza Annisa.
Initial investigation revealed the Mitsubishi Pajero the family were travelling in was hit by a Perodua MyVi from the right, causing Fairuz Nizam to lose control of the vehicle before crashing into another Perodua MyVi coming from the left.
The impact caused the Pajero to spin and overturn several times, and the three of them thrown out of the vehicle.
Fairuz died at the scene while his wife and daughter succumbed to their injuries at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital (HKL).-Astro Awani
