SHAH ALAM:cPolice investigations revealed theÂ businessman who was shot dead in his vehicle near the Sungai Rasau Toll Plaza onÂ Wednesday did not have any enemies.
District police chief, Assistant Commissioner Shafien Mamat said Gooi TanÂ Hock, 43, was a snooker table trader and had been in the business for a year.
“His family and friends said he did not have any enemies and was not in anyÂ trouble,” Shafien told reporters after attending a breaking of fast functionÂ here today.
In the incident around 4.35pm, Gooi was believed to be heading home toÂ Kajang from Klang when he was shot dead by a man on motorcycle, who had beenÂ tailing the Toyota Vellfire he was driving.
Shafien said the victim was believed to have been shot while paying tollÂ using his Touch N Go card, causing the vehicle to skid to the left lane.
He said the post mortem found two bullets in the body of the victim who didÂ not have any conviction record.
Police would send the relevant CCTV recording to the forensic unit, toÂ identify the registration number of the suspect’s motorcycle, he said.– BERNAMA
