KUALA LUMPUR – A businessman who was asleep in a double-storey house in Taman Pandan Mewah here was rudely awakened by the sound of two gunshots fired outside his house at about 5.47 am.
Ampang police chief ACP Khairuldin Saad (pic) said the victim in his 50’s later lodged a police report on the incident.
He said police investigations at the victim’s house found the windows were shattered believed by gunshots fired by a suspect on a motorcycle wearing a black jacket and a full face helmet.
“The suspect is believed to have fired from the roadside, about 20 metres away, however there were no casualties reported.
“According to a Myanmar security guard on duty at a security post near the victim’s house, he heard two shots fired,” he said when contacted.
In the incident, the businessman, four family members and a foreign maid were in the house, Khairuldin said. – Bernama
