KUALA LUMPUR – Armed Forces General Tan Sri Zulkifeli Mohd Zain hoped the film ‘Bravo Lima’ would further instill patriotism and strengthen unity among the various races in the country.
“The film is a true story based on the secret mission of Malaysian Armed Forces commandos to rescue a hostage and cripple the plans of the communists to control Kedah in 1989,” he said at the launch of the film at GSC Signature, The Garden Mall here tonight.
The film was launched by Deputy Prime Minister Datuk Seri Dr Ahmad Zahid Hamidi, who is also Home Ministry.
Zulkifeli said Ahmad Zahid praised the film for its patriotic elements and which is suitable for viewing by everyone.
Tunku Panglima Besar Kedah Tan Sri Tunku Puteri Intan Shafinaz Sultan Abdul Halim and Defence Minister Datuk Seri Hishammuddin Tun Hussein also attended the launch.
The Film was produced by Karya Prima Production Sdn Bhd and directed by M Hitler Zami, while the script was written by Major Zainal Hayat, and acted by Remy Ishak, Beto Kusyairy, Sofi Jikan, Xavier Fong and Normah Damanhuri.- BERNAMA
