JOHOR BAHRU – The Johor Parti Amanah Negara boycott of the Pakatan Harapan convention yesterday due to dissatisfaction over the distribution of electoral seats in the state is the initial sign of the pact’s integrity going into the 14th general election, according to PAS.
PAS vice-president Idris Ahmad said the people could now evaluate how the pact would administer the country if it won the election.
“It is a shocking matter. The convention should be a place for them to discuss the direction of Pakatan Harapan but the reverse has happened,” he said when asked to comment on the matter after a PAS event here last night.
Idris said he believed the dissatisfaction would go on to inhibit the work of Pakatan Harapan and create disunity in the pact, reflecting its incompetence to contest GE14. – BERNAMA
