KENINGAU: A primary six pupil was critically injured after falling from the second floor ceiling of his school here.
The 12-year-old boy fell into a coma after falling on the ground floor corridor of SK Ansip at about 9.55am, according to his 45-year-old father in a police report lodged around noon.
Acting district police chief Assistant Superintendent Merbin AK Lisa confirmed the report was lodged and that investigations are continuing.
Following the incident, the boy was sent to the district hospital where he was admitted to the Red Zone in the emergency ward.
The boy may likely be referred for further treatment at the Queen Elizabeth Hospital in Kota Kinabalu later this afternoon as he remained unconscious.-NST
