NILAI: A highly decomposed and bloated body, suspected to be that of a woman who went missing on Feb 11, has been found in an oil palm plantation in Mantin near here, said police on Tuesday.
Nilai Police chief Supt Abdullah Roning said the body, found at 6.45pm Monday was clad in a white T-shirt and brown pants, was that of Norini Sofian, 58.
“The left hand was missing from the wrist down, apparently eaten by some animal, and a ring was found beside the body,” he said.
Abdullah said the body had been sent to the Tuanku Jaafar Hospital in Seremban.
The case had been classified as sudden death, he said. – Bernama
