JESSICA Simpson had babies less than a year apart but she’s vowed that she’s not planning on expanding her family with husband Eric Johnson anytime soon.
The business mogul and singer, who has two children, three-year-old Maxwell and two-year-old Ace, has claimed that she doesn’t want any more kids, for now anyway.
Jess, 35, spoke to Entertainment Tonight about her growing family as she celebrates the 10 anniversary of her billion dollar company, where she ruled out more babies.
“No more kids on the horizon,†she said. “That would freak me out a little bit.”
Earlier this week, Jess spoke about how “blessed” she felt at the success of her company.
The star once captured hearts around the world when she famously confused tuna with chicken.
And a decade on she’s proven that there’s a lot more to her as she celebrates her billion dollar empire.
The singer, who was once married to 98 Degrees star Nick Lachey, has seen her brand grown rapidly over the years to include everything from footwear to fragrances.
In honour of the ten year anniversary, Jessica appeared on NBC’s Today Show to discuss her success with host Savannah Guthrie.
She gushed: “It’s truly a blessing. Right now I have Times Square billboards and we’re just in a very celebratory moment.”
Jessica revealed that after bridging out into active wear and maternity clothes, she’s now at the point of opening her own store.
But even as her business goes from strength to strength the 35-year-old admitted that people still doubt her skills.
She said: “I still think that people don’t take me completely seriously. I have some doubters out there. But hopefully we’ll continue to be about ten years from now and they’ll be wrong.”
It looks like there’s no stopping Jess, who is married to former NFL player Eric Johnson and has two kids.
However with everything going on Jessica firmly stated that she wouldn’t be returning to reality television.
She quipped: “We all know I stick my foot in my mouth a little bit too much so now that I’m a mum I probably have to keep it together.” – Daily Mirror
