KUALA LUMPUR – Fifty bowlers from the Malaysian National News Agency (Bernama) and Petron today held a friendly game to promote corporate relations between the two organisations at The Mines shopping centre in Seri Kembangan.
Bernama Editor-in-Chief Datuk Zakaria Abd Wahab said the programme was seen as an effort to enhance good ties between Bernama as a media organisation with the petroleum company.
“The programme is also an avenue to appreciate the efforts of media personnel who generate news to support the industries in the economy.
“We hope the activity will be continued in future with various other attractive programmes,” he told Bernama.
Meanwhile Petron Corporate Affairs head Zaini Harun said the programme was held to build good cooperation between the people on the ground in Bernama and Petron.
Apart from that, he said it was to encourage the employees to practice a healthy lifestyle by participating in sporting activities.
In the friendly match, Bernama emerged champions in the group and men’s individual categories. – BERNAMA
