KOTA BAHARU – FA Cup finalist Kelantan will be depending on its four imports to deliver the goals when facing the Lions XII from Singapore, in the FA Cup final at the National Stadium in Bukit Jalil, on Saturday.
Kelantan head coach Mohd Azraai Khor Abdullah said his main task would be to ensure all four imports – Erwin Carillo, Austin Amutu, Gilmar Da Silva and Jonathan Mckain – are available and in their best physical condition.
“Amutu who was injured is able to play but I am not sure how long he can play. But that should not be a problem because what is important is to avoid mistakes and remain focused throughout the match,” he told reporters, here today.
Azraai said all his players were available for the match and were in the best physical and mental condition while the morale of the team was high.
“We cannot take the Lions XII lightly just because they are young since they are experienced in playing at a high level,” he said.
Kelantan, winners of the FA Cup in 2012 and 2013 made it to the final after beating Pahang 3-2 on aggregate while Lions XII earned their ticket on away goals rule after a 4-4 aggregate draw against Terengganu. – BERNAMA
