MADRID – After the European Championship and the Copa America, Argentina stayed atop FIFA world rankings ahead of Belgium, while Spain went down to eighth place after being eliminated against Italy in the second round of the Euro.
The most significant change in the top 10 rankings this month is achieved by France, rising 10 places to reach seventh place.
Brazil, after early elimination in Copa America, went down from seventh to ninth place.
Italy rose two places to 10th.
Colombia, Germany and Chile remain third, fourth and fifth respectively, while Portugal rose from eighth to sixth place after winning the European Championship.
