KUALA LUMPUR – Kelantan Football Association (Kafa) advisor Tan Sri Annuar Musa took the Football Association of Malaysia (FAM) to task for allegedly making bias decisions in the postponement of Malaysia Cup matches.
He said the FAM should not change the dates of the Malaysia Cup quarterfinal fixtures that has been set because it would cause unnecessary problems to other teams.
“The dates of matches should not be changed as they (FAM) wished…They should be fair to all teams and not change the schedule just because of a request from one team.
“Enough is enough, stop such practice….retain the original schedule that was confirmed earlier…when are we going to change?…,” he posted in his Facebook account Wednesday.
The FAM had upon Johor Darul Ta’zim’s (JDT) request, postponed the match against Terengganu that was scheduled on Saturday (Oct 11) to Oct 17.
The first leg Malaysia Cup quarterfinal match between both teams ended in a goalless draw at the Sultan Ismail Nasiruddin Shah Stadium in Kuala Terengganu. – Bernama
