KUALA LUMPUR – Malaysia’s Foreign Minister Datuk Seri Anifah Aman has been meticiously going through the details and preparation for a smooth-sailing opening ceremony and related meetings of the 27th ASEAN Summit, at the Kuala Lumpur Convention Centre this weekend.
An aide of the minister said Anifah was very particular about the preparations and would like to ensure everything goes smoothly as planned.
Immediately after wrapping up his curtain raiser press conference on the 27th ASEAN Summit and related summits Wednesday, Anifah was accompanied by senior officals of Wisma Putra (Foreign Ministry) on a walkabout to the related halls and venues where the opening ceremony and head of states meetings will take place.
“He wanted to see the preparations with his own eyes. He is satisfied,” said the aide.
