NEW YORK – Alec Baldwin has put his retirement plans on hold in case his unborn son gets arrested.
The 56-year-old actor, whose wife Hilaria is expecting a baby boy, claims he will have to work for another 20 years in order to provide security for his young family.
The ‘Still Alice’ star said: “I thought I would be retiring from acting in about seven or eight years and now I’m going to work for the next 20 years. I’ve got kids–in New York!”
Alec, who has daughter Ireland, 19, with ex-wife Kim Basinger and 16-month-old daughter Carmen with Hilaria, 30, also joked he is worried his unborn son will get into trouble and have to hire an expensive lawyer in the future.
The former ’30 Rock’ actor told ‘Extra’: “I mean, my older daughter’s grown…but a boy, got to get legal fees in case he gets arrested. If he’s like any of the boys in my family, the cops are going to be coming.”
Meanwhile, the three-time Golden Globe winner laughed off suggestions he should name his third child Alec Jr. and said: “We don’t know what name we’re going to name our son. We have ideas, but we’re not going to say.” – Bernama
